Career Highlights : Working with Patrick and the MKPR team on a smooth and very successful transition when he became president of the agency in 2006. Representing clients who strove to create positive change, often helping with identity, mission, and positioning before launch. Earning a reputation for practicing PR with integrity.

Work Experience: Founded MKPR in 1992 in my bedroom. Became the first agency to represent gay clients to mainstream media, then one of the first agencies to represent consumer internet companies. Before launching MKPR, freelanced for a few years, ghostwrote a couple of books, and wrote and a lot of marketing material.

Proudest Accomplishments: Raising Chico, MKPR's canine mascot, from 7 weeks old. Publishing my first book, The Mountain Bike Experience (Henry Holt, 1996), and creating Table for One, the first guidebook series for solo diners, including Table for One New York City (McGraw-Hill, 2001), Table for One Chicago (2002), and Table for One Los Angeles (2002).
